Designed for demanding environments where durability and clarity are critical, R380 is a high-performance resin ribbon developed specifically for alcohol-resistant printing. Perfect for medical applications, laboratory use, and the labeling of detergents, where exposure to alcohol or IPA is frequent. This alcohol-resistant TTR performs especially well on labels made from PET, PVC, Vinyl, and Polyimide.
In medical and laboratory environments, labels, used for patient wristbands, test tube identification, sterilisation proof, and medication packaging, are frequently exposed to disinfectants like ethanol and IPA. To ensure critical information remains legible after exposure, an alcohol-resistant Thermal Transfer Ribbon (TTR) is essential.
DNP developed the R380 specifically for alcohol-resistant printing on PET, PVC, Vinyl, and Polyimide label materials. This flat-head thermal transfer resin delivers exceptionally high print quality and sharp edge definition, ensuring optimal readability and scannability, even for the smallest font sizes.
