The area sales manager is responsible for realizing the profitable growth targeted in an appointed area, using the available commercial products. The customer relation is enriched by the excellent qualities and ideas from the sales representative. The most important part of the job is visiting customers, and finding opportunities, extending the business. During visits at customers the business is being discussed as well as trends and pricing conditions. In order to give the production the possibility to manufacture what is needed, the area manager is responsible for proper and accurate forecasting. Together with the indoor sales team the area sales manager is active in follow up on quotations and samples. He is also responsible for the reporting and follow-up of any commercial actions at customers and prospects.
